This is for you if you’re a woman who knows that something needs to change.

Maybe you have been carrying grief, anxiety, or a sense of being lost for longer than you want to admit. You’re exhausted on a deep level. You are ready to stop outrunning it all and start moving through it intentionally instead.

What you know is that you are ready to do the work, even when that feels uncertain.

If that sounds like you, you are in the right place.

working together

What our work together looks like

Therapy at Alora is shaped by what you bring into the room each week.

Some sessions will be quiet and reflective, following a thread of conversation wherever it leads. Others may draw on approaches that engage the body: somatic awareness and movement, breath, or mindfulness practices.

At times we may also use experiential or creative practices that go beyond talking: working with different parts of yourself, externalizing what feels stuck, or finding a way to feel truly seen in your experience.

All of it is offered as an invitation. Nothing is required. Every approach is grounded in your readiness and your consent, and I follow your lead. My role is to hold what emerges and walk alongside you with steadiness and care.

Approaches We May Use Together

What you might bring

Women come to Alora moving through all kinds of experiences:

  • Grief and loss

  • Sudden loss, including the loss of a loved one to suicide

  • A life transition: a move, a career change, the end of a relationship

  • Divorce, separation, or the complexity of co-parenting

  • The stages of motherhood, from early parenthood through the empty nest

  • The menopause journey and the identity shifts that come with it

  • Caregiving for aging loved ones, and the grief that often lives alongside that

  • Anxiety and nervous system overwhelm

  • Disconnection from yourself or your body

  • A sense that something important has changed, even if you can't yet name what

If you see yourself somewhere in this list, I'd love to connect.

About Intensives

Sometimes the standard rhythm of weekly sessions isn't what you need. Maybe you are navigating something specific and want to go deep on it without spreading the work across months. Maybe your schedule makes weekly therapy hard to commit to, but you still want to make real progress. Maybe you are already working with another therapist and want focused support on one particular piece of your healing, in collaboration with your existing care.

That is what an intensive is for.

An intensive is an extended, focused session designed to move through something with more depth and presence than a standard 50-minute hour allows. It is a good fit for women who are motivated, ready to work, and want to create real movement in a concentrated period of time.

Intensives are available upon request. Reach out to talk through whether this format might be right for you.

A few questions I hear often

  • Most clients meet with me weekly, especially at the start of our work together. That said, I am flexible and happy to talk through a schedule that works for where you are. Intensives are also a great option if weekly sessions aren't feasible right now.

  • You don't need any experience with therapy to work with me. We will move at your pace, and I will explain anything that might feel unfamiliar as we go.

  • Not at all. Everything in my practice is optional and tailored to you. If something doesn't feel right, we don't do it. We will always move at your pace and nothing happens without your readiness and your consent.

  • Reach out to schedule a free consultation. It is a relaxed conversation to see if we might be a good fit, with no pressure or obligation.
